A Florida man started a car wash business to help his autistic son and others with autism. 35 of the 43 employees are on the autism spectrum. This is a great story.

Not how "a florida man" stories usually go. Well done.

awesome, and people that actually have a solid diagnosis too, not this bullshit of "My son is acting out" Doctor: "Must be autism"

This is great. A good friend of mine has a relative with dyspraxia (a condition on the autistic spectrum) and he's an intelligent guy but he can't find work anywhere. He's fairly sociable and passed a foundation degree in accounting, but despite his ability just being unusual is enough to set him back.
More things like this need to happen.

If I wasn't deathly phobic of induced swirl marks I would be all about having that guy with the sweet dance moves detail my car. What a great opportunity, I can think of so many jobs that I interact with daily where I'd rather have a nice person with autism working than some able bodied person with shit for brains and a bad attitude.

I'd just take my car there, but have an appointment at the detail shop afterwards. Gotta support such a great cause.

Those were the days.
Parent - "My son isn't paying attention at school"
Doctor -" Here is some prescription meth that the school administrators can force feed him"
